I don’t remember the exact date, but it’s about a week before my finale presentation. The final presentation is at 8 April 2009. I think the problem is about 3 April 2009, my primary hard disk for AMD 4600+ which is Maxtor DiamondMax 80GB Sata 3.0 GB >> B U R N
The failure point is come from one of its capacitor, which is at the bottom board, happens when the time of rendering. For you information, one last week before final presentation, the architecture student will have a hard time to finish up the final presentation board. Brief of architectural student;
All knowledge of design has been put for about 13 weeks before, all tasks from planning, ergonomic, interior design, sustainability, structure n construction, and so on. But the very final weeks is the only time where the architecture student will have a time to deal with all software of knowledge just to make a printable presentation board. The basic application is;
Microsoft Office 2007 –all your thought need to be write in a proper grammar. AutoCAD 2008 – basic application of your planning – plans, sections, elevation (in 2D). Google SketchUp Pro 6 – basic 3D application for model making for perspective. Artlantis Studio 2 – the 3rd party application of rendering, super fast and I like it. Adobe Photoshop CS3 – the application to make a picture better – king of pixels. Adobe Illustrator CS3 – the final presentation composition – king of printing. All need to be run under one OS - Microsoft Window XP SP3 Situation;
The burning hard disk was pulling me down a bit. It’s about a night, and I’m running out of time now. The final decision just used my second harddisk from other computer, the AMD 3000+, Western Digital 160GB. That AMD 3000+ for me is suck, very-very slow since I have been working with dual core. Bring out the important file, and used that harddisk as my replacement for my primary harddisk for that AMD 4600+. It’s takes about 6 hours to be in the right track, in full complete installation. But after finding back my back up file from secondary harddsik and pendrive, the answer is shit. I’m falling back about 2 days than before, much file is not updated. Due to that technical failure, I had running put of time, very-very much but I can manage to complete the whole composition but not in my real standard. Much thing I still not finally done, just presented. The final result is FUCKING SHIT… Long – long time ago….
Its recall me of one other hard disk about 6 month before. The Seagate Barracuda 320 GB is B U R N out at the electrical point. That harddisk is my secondary harddisk for second partition of data, and one of the best things is, that 320GB is just less than one week of buying from Low Yat. I sent is back to the store and what they said is, “No guaranty for the burning cases”. Why I’m choosing the Seagate brand is for their guarantee of 5 years, but FUCK OFF. After that I’s buying a new harddisk; Western Digital 500GB as a secondary harddisk. From that case; for me what is G U A R A N T E E ??? No other purpose, just for business strategy of marketing. And if you’re confusing how much harrdisk I have, I make it clear; AMD 4600+ Western Digital 500GB x2 (One primary one secondary) AMD 3000+ Western Digital 160GB
