The first idea before I proceed for this post is for the destination, which is Genting Highland, Pahang, Malaysia. But after browsing back the picture that has been taken, I decided to change it for the post of my small bike, but with the 'punishment' of one day road trip climbing up. So the post is not for destination much, but for the machine that I been using – Yamaha Lagenda Z 110.
The bike is small enough for long ride, but better handling for busiest city like Kuala Lumpur. I been using it since my collages time until now, since I been working with one of the architecture firm, located in the middle of Kuala Lumpur. Which the best transportation is mainly using a public transportation or motorcycle. I choose to ride rather than waiting for public transportation. But for your information, I do have a car, but change it status for weekly car. Haha.
I don't have a complete specification but yet the experience is better. The bike top speed is just 120kmh, with my weight about 75kg. It's suitable for everyone actually, doesn't means you are American, you cannot ride it. Just it's not much power inside the engine. Total horsepower is just about 10hp, but the acceleration is very good. The only problem that I face when having this bike is just not enough top speed. Fuel consumption is very good, perhaps one cylinder engine carburetor system is enough as a daily use.
The price I not very sure, but mine is about 5K. People may ask me, what is the best thing you like about the bike. I will say' the handling', since I never fall when taking a corner. Perhaps the engineering for the rigid structure is good enough to taking a corner with such speed,at it's reacting very well when having a hard break in the middle of corner. The tyre selection may help too, my choice is Duro Racing, maybe you never heard about that.
The usual service for this bike is very simple, just changing the engine oil and spark plug for every three month, and other yearly services such a chain and airfilter. Engine oil selection is Motul 3000 only. Have a look of the picture, the bike I'm using and my destination climbing up to Genting Highland, Pahang. Just a daily trip, but yet I had fun about it. Maybe I will repeat this trip with the other bikes. Have fun.
